Final Integrated Summative Assessment (FISA) – Learning and Development Facilitator

Important Information and Instructions

The Final Integrated Summative Assessment (FISA) consists of two parts and will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams. Candidates are required to strictly follow the rules outlined below.


📌 General Rules

  • Candidates must join the Microsoft Teams session using the link provided.

  • Camera must be switched on at all times during the assessment.

  • Candidates must share their screen while completing the assessment.

  • No other electronic devices (phones, tablets, etc.) are allowed during the assessment.

  • Candidates may not walk away from their computer or leave the session while completing the FISA.

  • Any breach of these rules will result in immediate disqualification.


📝 Part 1: Written Assessment

  • Start Time: 08:30 AM

  • Finish Time: 10:00 AM

  • Candidates will receive a Scenario Document and the FISA Paper.

  • You are required to:

    1. Download the scenario and read it carefully.

    2. Download the FISA paper and complete all sections in full based on the information provided in the scenario.

    3. After completing the FISA paper, upload it onto Moodle.

    4. You will have 5 minutes to upload the completed paper.

  • After the upload window closes, access to the FISA paper will be removed, and the Teams session will end.


🎤 Part 2: Practical Facilitation Session

  • Each candidate has been assigned a 20-minute time slot for their facilitation session.

  • Candidates must:

    • Log into the Microsoft Teams session 5 minutes before their scheduled time.

    • Deliver a 20-minute facilitation session to the assessor based on the scenario and facilitation plan developed in Part 1.

    • Share their screen and keep their camera switched on during the entire session.

    • The session will be recorded for moderation purposes.

    • No discussions with the assessor will be permitted except during your allocated facilitation session.


✅ Key Notes

  • Ensure that you have stable internet and that your camera and microphone are functioning correctly before starting the session.

  • Use only the resources provided and your prepared plan – no external assistance is allowed.

  • Competence will be assessed on both planning (Part 1) and delivery (Part 2) of your facilitation session.
